Our initiative arises from considering that glasses cannot be "single use", a glass requires so much effort and consumption of resources, that we must make it go around as many times as possible, let's turn it into a circular glass
Challenge
Before starting this initiative, at Tres Glops we supplied 40,000 single-use cups per month, which means 8 monthly garbage containers full of cardboard cups, which required around 3 trees and 30,000 liters of water to manufacture. without counting the consumption of other resources and energies necessary to dispose of them together with our source. This is how our initiative was born to reduce dependence on single-use cups through circular cups, returnable up to 200 times, thus significantly reducing the environmental impact of single-use cups.

The glasses we use are: Biodegradable In a natural environment, they degrade in just under three years, leaving no residue in the environment. Partially organic The glasses are composed of 40% bioplastic and 60% rice husks from Valencian rice fields. Reusable They are washable up to 80ºC, guaranteeing their disinfection and the process can be repeated up to 200 times. Reduced environmental impact The circular glasses of Tres Glops have raw materials, national design and manufacture, little dependent on international economic factors and few trips.
